Come Sing and Play! Why Our Sing & Shine Program is Special

Loren Goodman, MA, LPMT, MT-BC

Are you looking for a fun music class for your baby or toddler? Welcome to Sing & Shine by Prospect Music Therapy! There are lots of music classes out there, but ours is a little bit different.

We made Sing & Shine to be a happy, safe place for your family to learn and grow together. Here is what makes our program so special!

What Makes Us Different?

  • Taught by Experts: Our teachers are real Music Therapists. That means they went to school to learn exactly how music helps children’s brains and bodies grow.
  • More Than Just Music: We don’t just teach kids how to sing in tune. We use music to help your whole family. We help kids learn to talk, move, share, and be good friends!
  • We Go with the Flow: We do not have strict rules or a set list of songs. If the kids have lots of energy, we play jump-and-dance songs. If they need to rest, we sing quiet songs. We pick the best activities for the people in the room.
  • Classes for Every Age: A baby learns differently than a three-year-old. We group children by age so the games are always just right for them.
  • Parents Join the Fun: Parents do not just sit and watch! You are a big part of the group. We help you play, sing, and bond with your child.
  • A Safe, Happy Place: Is your child having a grumpy day? Does your toddler want to run around? That is completely okay! We welcome everyone with open arms. We are a judgment-free zone.
  • Everyone is Welcome: Children of all abilities are invited to sing and play with us! We make sure every single child has a wonderful time learning and growing in their own special way.

What Parents Are Saying

Don’t just take our word for it! Parents love the warm and caring space our therapists create.

One parent shared that her therapist plans amazing lessons that keep both babies and toddlers happy and focused, doing it all with “grace and a genuine love for sharing music with children.”

Another mom said Sing & Shine classes helped her daughter learn to talk better and be a kind person. She loves that her therapist is empathetic, professional, and keeps classes affordable so more families can join the fun!
